NORMAL, Ill. - The University of Dubuque tied for third after two competitive days of golf at Ironwood Golf Course (Par 72, 5,823 yds) in a strong field of 19 teams and 121 competitors. The Spartans opened with a round of 302 and followed it up on Sunday with a score 306. UD was led by Leah Balsbaugh who tied for fifth and lost a tie break and placed 6th overall after rounds of 73 and 76 (149).

Gracie Russell shot even Par 72 on Saturday and finished with a round of 79 (151, and tied for 9th). Payton Morton tied for 15th after rounds of 78-76-154. Drew Hoffer tied for 18th after finishing with scores of 79-76-155. Olivia Hines shot rounds of 82-78-160 and tied with teammate Kaycee Newman (82-78-160) for 34th.

Next up is the 2025 Midwest Region Classic hosted by Benedictine University in Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wis. on Sept. 19-20.
