GENEVA, Ohio - The 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships got going on Thursday with the Spartans competing in four events throughout the day. The highlight of day one for the Spartans was in the women's discus as sophomore
Nai'lah Anders earned NCAA All-American honors in the event.
Anders fouled four of her six throws in the discus, but her fifth throw of 43.25 meters earned her First Team All-American honors for the first time in her young career. In his first ever NCAA Championships,
Braydin Preston finished 20th in the men's javelin throw. The duo of
Jaberrius Peake and
Otis Patterson finished 20th and 21st respectively in the men's 200 meters prelim.
