Men's Lacrosse Falls at Home Against Aurora

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's lacrosse team lost their first NACC home game of the season on Wednesday afternoon 12-6 to the Aurora University Spartans.

Aurora scored first 30 seconds into the game, but Aidan Culligan scored the equalizer on the man-up opportunity off an assist from Andrew Beaudoin. Aurora would outscore the Spartans 7-1 (Peter Schiess goal) the rest of the first half to lead 8-2 after 30 minutes of play.

Both teams split a pair of goals in the third as Culligan scored his second of the day. The Spartans were not able to get any closer than a six goal deficit in the second half as Aiden Ennett, Parker Hahne, and Giovanni Silva all scored in the fourth quarter.

After being out for a little over a week, Culligan led the Spartans with three points. Silva also finished with a multi-point game. Nolan Nagy had 16 saves in the loss.

The Spartans fall to 4-6 on the season and 3-2 in conference play.
