DUBUQUE, Iowa - The United Soccer Coaches (USC) released the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Scholar Awards for the 2025 season. Senior midfielder
Alyssa Tranchita was named with Scholar All-American second team honors as well as All-North / Central Region first team, while goalkeeper
Karissa Cruz was named All-North / Central Region second team.
Tranchita (Greenfield, Wis. / Whitnall) is finishing up her major in Elementary Education and is earning her first career Scholar All-American honor of her career as well as her first Scholar All-Region honor. With these honors, Tranchita has now racked up eight postseason accolades to what was a career-year for the senior.Â
Cruz (Elgin, Ill. / Elgin) is currently working on a degree in Digital Art & Design and is also earning her first career Scholar All-Region honor. Cruz now has five postseason accolades added to her name.Â
Tranchita was one of two A-R-C student-athletes to receive the Scholar All-American award, while the duo of Tranchita and Cruz were two of six A-R-C student-athletes to be named to the Scholar All-North/Central Region team.Â
