WAUWATOSA, Wis. - The University of Dubuque volleyball team won all three games at the Wisconsin Lutheran Quadrangular after going 2-0 on Saturday with wins over Monmouth 3-2 and a sweep of the host Wisconsin Lutheran College. 

Opening the morning, the Spartans were able to sneak away with a win after winning the first set and then the two teams went back in forth before the Spartans won the deciding fifth set 15-11. Neither team attacked well, but the Spartans used a few more kills and blocks to help seal the win. 

While facing Wisconsin Lutheran in the final game on Saturday, the Spartans were able to get a clean sweep after attacking much better. The Spartans recorded five more kills than Wisconsin Lutheran and had 11 more blocks at the net. 

Ashley Glennon finished the day with 19 kills while Payton Uptagraft had 15 throughout the day. Alexis Kammerer had a team-high 38 assists and Taylor Bechen had 39 digs on the backend of the Spartans defense. 

The Spartans are back to a winning record at 5-3 after a three game win streak this weekend.
