DUBUQUE, Iowa - Virginia Speltz of the University of Dubuque women's soccer team was named Scholar All-North/Central Region second team honors by the United Soccer Coaches (USC). 

Speltz (Winnebago, Ill. / Winnebago) majoring in Nursing, earned her second consecutive Scholar All-North/Central Region honor of her career on Wednesday. The senior now has five postseason accolades after being named USC All-Region IX second team, A-R-C All-Conference, CSC Academic All-District, and A-R-C All-Academic earlier this year. 

Speltz was one of four American Rivers Conference women's soccer student-athletes to be named to the Scholar All-North/Central Region team.
