STORM LAKE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's soccer picked up a dominate win on the road on Saturday afternoon defeating the Buena Vista University Beavers (3-12, 0-7) by a final score of 7-0.
Emma Kober scored the first two goals of the game for the Spartans and then added three assists on the following three goals.
Kober scored the opening goal in the 20th minute and then again two minutes later from
Samantha Scodeller to give the Spartans a 2-0 lead. Kober would then assist the goals of
Alyssa Tranchita,
Samantha Scodeller, and
Lily Rimrodt. Rimrodt scored her first collegiate goal as a Spartan in the 60th minute of the game.
Makenna Lamp would also get her first collegiate goal off Rimrodt's assist.
Autumn Huntington got the seventh and final goal of the night late in the game.
With one game left in the regular season, Kober currently sits tied for fifth in single season goals with 15. She also currently sits ninth in single season points with 37.
The Spartans completely dominated the game this afternoon getting off 40 total shots with 20 on goal. The Spartans defense held the Beavers to 1 total shot all game. The Spartans added seven corner kicks to just one for the Beavers.
The Spartans move to 10-4-1 overall and 4-2-1 in conference play.
