CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dubuque volleyball team would lose their final regular season match against the unbeaten Coe College Kohawks 0-3. Coe collected the #1 seed in the American Rivers Conference Tournament while the Spartans grabbed the #4 seed for Tuesday, Oct.1 and will host the #5 seed Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairiewolves at 7:00 p.m.

The Spartans in three sets 22-25, 19-25, 12-25 and finished with a .078 hitting percentage. Emma Powell led the offense with nine kills, Darby Hawtrey and Payton Uptagraft added five kills each. Kaylynn Murray distributed the ball for 17 set assists.Defensively the Spartans ended the match with 55 digs and were led by a trio of Spartans Kaylynn Murray, Emma Powell, Katie Wright who all compiled 11 digs each.

The Spartans travel to North Park University in Chicago, Ill. on Saturday, Oct. 29 scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start. UD will return to Jon Davison Court in Stoltz Sports Center on Tuesday to open the first round of the 2022 A-R-C Volleyball Tournament as the #4 seed and host the #5 seed NWU at 7:00 p.m. The winner will advance to play #1 seed Coe College on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
