SAINT PETER, Minn. - The University of Dubuque women's soccer team scored at the 36 minute mark on Monday which was enough for the road victory over the Gustavus Adolphus College Golden Gusties.

Jordan Cadena scored the only goal of the game off an assist by Brooke Brodzinski at 36:55. UD dominated the shots 23-9 and kept the Golden Gusties keeper busy with 13 saves. Brodzinski led everyone with 14 shots with seven on goal. Emmerson Wilson finished the afternoon with four shots and two on goal. Cadence Martindale earned the win in the goal and added a shutout to her season tally after stopping four shots on goal. UD had five corner kicks and committed just two fouls on the day.

The Spartans (2-1 overall) plays at Monmouth College on Friday, Sept. 10 at 5:30 p.m. UD returns home to host UW-Oshkosh on Sept. 15 on Oyen Field at 6:00 p.m.
