Kevin Schenk is entering his first season at the University of Dubuque as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s soccer team in 2019.
Prior to UD, he was an assistant coach at Crystal Lake South High School (IL) for the boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer teams for one and two seasons, respectively. He primarily worked with the goalkeepers on both teams. In 2018 with the boys, he was a part of the IHSA 2A state championship winning team.
Prior to Crystal Lake South, he was an assistant coach with the University High School (IL) boys’ varsity soccer team for two seasons while a student at Illinois State University. In 2016, he was a part of the IHSA 1A state championship winning team.
Schenk played for three years as a goalkeeper at UW-Oshkosh. He was a part of two teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament, and another that was WIAC champions. He later transferred to Illinois State University where he graduated in 2018 with a degree in Business Education.
Originally from Cary, IL, Schenk currently holds his Grassroots Coaching Licenses from the USSF, along with his Goalkeeper Level 1 and 2 Licenses from United Soccer Coaches.
