Thomas Martin, a native of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, joined the UD lacrosse coaching staff in Fall 2022 as a volunteer assistant. In 2023, he assumed the role of assistant coach. Martin will serve in the 2023-24 season as the Faceoff and Midfield coordinator for the Spartans.
Martin has multiple years of coaching experience at the youth, club, and high school levels having coached at his Alma Mater, Sault Area, in Maine for Caribou Lacrosse, and in Minnesota for Shakopee and Grey Duck.
Martin played for the Spartans from 2018-2022 where he appeared in 23 games as a long-stick midfielder and faceoff specialist. He was named to the academic all-conference team in each of his four years. Martin was a member of UD's 2022 Midwest Lacrosse Conference championship team and competed in the NCAA tournament in 2022.
