Nicole Schnese joined the University of Dubuque as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2021. She primarily works with the Football, Men’s Basketball, Golf and Tennis teams. In her time at UD, she has also worked with the Women’s Volleyball and Men’s Lacrosse teams.
 
Nicole graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and a Master’s degree in Athletic Training. During her time at CUW, Nicole completed research focusing on the effects of mobilization and exercise on shoulder injuries in the athletic population. She was also a 4-year member of the softball team at CUW.
 
Nicole holds certifications is Level 1 Dry Needling, Graston Technique, and Vestibular Rehab and Concussion Therapy.
 
A native of Manhattan, IL, Nicole now resides in Dubuque with her husband Mason and dog Remington. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and being active, including working out, going on walks with Remi and hiking.
