Jordan Edwards joined the Spartans staff in 2024 as the Wide Receivers Coach. 

Prior to joining the Spartans, Edwards was the Wide Receivers Coach, Special Teams Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator at Willamette University located in Salem, Oregon for one season.
Edwards spent the spring season working at Murray State as the graduate assistant working with the receivers and running backs.
 
Edwards went on to coach the running backs at the University of Minnesota Duluth, Edwards coached Wade Sullivan who earned First Team All-NSIC and was apart of a nationally ranked rushing attack which led division 2 in time of possession, 15th in rushing offense and 21st in first downs gained per game.
 
Edwards served as a graduate assistant coach and earned his master's degree in Human Resources at Lakeland University located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin . During his tenure at Lakeland, he coached two all-conference players, Brice Kensey and Mason Prunick. Kensey went on to catch 75 passes for 1,035 yards and 12 touchdowns in seven games. Kensey became only the third player in Muskies history to have over 1,000 yards receiving in a single season. Edwards played running back at Concordia University of Wisconsin where he led the team in rushing his sophomore season. He earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing and Management.
