Brad Fox is entering his second season on the University of Dubuque football coaching staff and will work with the Spartans' defensive line during the 2026 season.
Prior to joining the University of Dubuque, Fox spent 33 years in education, first as a teacher and later as a school administrator. During his years in education, he also coached varsity football for 25 seasons, including nine years as a head coach.
Over the course of his coaching career, Fox's teams qualified for the state playoffs 16 times and advanced to three state championship games, including one state championship. His extensive experience as both an educator and coach has allowed him to develop student-athletes on and off the field while building successful and competitive programs.
Fox resides in Scales Mound, Illinois, with his wife, Colleen. Together, they have four adult children. Although retired from full-time education, he remains active in local school districts through part-time employment and continues to serve students and communities throughout the region.
