DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's cross country team opened up their season on Friday at the Loras College Bob Schultz Invite. Three Spartans finished inside the top 10 in the 5k with Aiden Mohr leading the way with a third place finish. 

Mohr improved his personal best on Friday by six seconds to 15:41.0 to finish in third place. Mohr was the first collegiate runner to cross the finish line. Carter Richter crossed the finish line in 15:58.0 to finish seventh, while Sawyer Feldman ran his first collegiate race and recorded an eighth place finish in a time of 16:00.8. Both Richter and Feldman entered the all-time top 10 men's 5k times in program history. 

Evan Robertson finished 20th and ran 16:44.9 and Amana Omale was 26th with a time of 16:53.8. Richard Kelso was also among the top 30 with a 28th place finish, coming in with a time of 17:00.9.
