DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque baseball team faced Loras College for a doubleheader on Tuesday. Justin Potts went 5-9 with three extra base hits during the contests.
Game One
Potts went 2-4 with a triple and a run scored. Alex Kirman laced a double during the contest and Zavion Ingram sprinted around the bases for an inside-the-park home run in the first inning. On the mound, Shae Buskohl received the loss while Josh Rogde pitched 1.1 clean innings in relief, striking out two.
Game Two
Will Sullivan led the way in game two, going 4-7 with two RBI and a run scored and lacing a triple. Potts reached base five times, going 3-5 with two hit by pitches, two RBI, and two runs scored. Potts also stole a base and was a home run shy of the cycle. Luke Levesque made the most of his second start, going 3-5 with five RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Kirman went 2-4 with a walk, four runs scored, a stolen base, and two hit by pitches, while Cade Reisner went 2-4 with three RBI, three runs scored, a walk, and a hit by pitch.
