GLOUCESTER, Mass. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced its men's All-American teams for the 2025-26 season on Thursday. Senior forward Nikita Borodaenko became the first AHCA All-American in program history, as he was named to the West Region Second-Team.
Borodaenko completed a historic 2025-2026 season with 35 points, good for 22nd in the nation. He also finished 16th in the nation in points per game. He set a program record with 17 goals and 18 assists during his senior campaign. He scored two game-winning goals and notched two four-point games as well. Borodaenko received NCHA Star of the Week awards twice this season and was named NCHA All-Conference by the league's head coaches.
After the season, Borodaenko signed amateur contracts with the Iowa Heartlanders and the Wichita Thunder, both of the ECHL.
