ADRIAN, Mich. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association released their Stars of the Week for the week ending February 15th, 2026. Senior forward Nikita Borodaenko and freshman forward Natalie Meeder received honors for their play this weekend.

On Saturday, he scored twice and recorded an assist on Senior Night, helping the Spartans to build a 3-0 lead. Borodaenko finished the season with 35 points, the T-7th-highest total in Division III. Borodaenko finished his career with the most points of any player in program history.
Meeder stormed onto the scene this season and closed her freshman campaign by tallying six points across two games against Aurora University. In Friday's match, she recorded two assists. On Saturday, Meeder put together the best single-game performance a women's hockey player has ever seen, becoming the first person to ever score three or more goals in a single game. Meeder finished with four goals in the contest, three of which were unassisted. In her freshman campaign, Meeder shattered every single-season offensive record at UD and scored 15 goals, more than doubling the previous season record.
