DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque hosted the UD Brown-Terrell Invite on Superbowl Sunday with 11 teams competing in the event inside the Stoltz Sports Center and McCormick Gymnasium. Teams competing included: Carthage College, University of Chicago, Cornell College, University of Dubuque, Eureka College, Iowa State University Club Team, Luther College, UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point, Wartburg College, and Westminster College.
The Spartans finished with one champion and five placewinners. UD's
Gavin Ross won the 141 lbs. weight class capturing the title with two decisions and a pair of falls. No team scores were kept.
