ADRIAN, Mich. - University of Dubuque women's hockey forward
Natalie Meeder was named to the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) all-conference team, as well as all-freshman team on Tuesday afternoon the league announced.
In 18 league games, Meeder (Woodbury, Minn. / Woodbury HS) notched 20 points (12 goals, 8 assists) for the Spartans in her first-year. Meeder had the eighth most points (20) in conference play this season and scored the sixth most goals (12). She led the league in shots with 105 (5.83 per game) and had four short-handed goals, two more than the next highest in the NCHA. Meeder ended her first-year by scoring a school record four goals in the final game of the season at Aurora, which tied the most goals scored in a single game by any NCHA women's hockey player this season.
The Spartans completed year three of the program this season and are eager to continue to build for the future.
