Men's Wrestling Battle #8 Kohawks in Final Dual Meet

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dubuque competed in their final dual meet of the year at the #8 Coe College Kohawks and lost 34-7.

The Spartans Ashton Hayhurst won at 149 lbs. in a 9-5 decision to give UD the early 3-0 lead. Zane Pannell at 184 lbs. with a point of riding time, captured the major decision 11-3. The two teams combined to enter the meet with eight individuals ranked in the latest The Open Mat DIII individual rankings updated on February 11.
