STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The University of Dubuque women's wrestling began 2026 by finishing 2-1 at the UW-Stevens Point Pointer Open on Saturday, Jan. 10. The Spartans beat UW-Oshkosh 35-15, lost to tie #23 ranked UW-Stevens Point 33-14, and beat Cornell College 26-15.

UD's Alex Hofrichter ended the afternoon with three wins all by falls. Shea Reisel went 3-0 with a fall and a pair of technical falls. Sara Schroder finished 3-0 with a fall, a tech fall, and a win by forfeit.
