ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The University of Dubuque women's hockey team played the College of Saint Benedict Saturday afternoon. To close out a two-game weekend series on the road, the Spartans fell 7-0 to the Bennies.

UD worked hard on defense, as they had 13 blocks as a team. Five individuals had two blocked shots this afternoon: Gracie Hall, Natalie Meeder, Zoe Cupples, Dani Denhof and Lauren Jeffery. At goalkeeper, Emily Skanron and Molly Jex both got into the game, combining for 42 saves. Skanron made 26 saves and Jex made 16. Meeder led the team in shots at four, with Ava Dedrick right behind with three shots.
