DUBUQUE, Iowa - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released their 2024-2025 Team Academic Excellence Awards and the Honors Court on Thursday morning.

The University of Dubuque men's basketball team was a recipient of the Team Academic Excellence Award which recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The University of Dubuque had five student-athletes that were named to the Honors Court.

Wyatt Kocurek ( Balsam Lake, Wis. / Unity) - Wellness and Exercise Science
Ian Mindrup (Marion, Iowa / Linn-Mar) - Cybersecurity


The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
