CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the men's tennis all-conference team on Wednesday afternoon. Junior,
Gavin Murrie was the lone Spartan to be named in both singles and doubles.
In his first season with the Spartans, Murrie (Lindenhurst, Ill. / Lakes Community) played all eight conference matches this season going 5-3 at No. 1 singles and 4-4 in No. 1 doubles. The transfer junior played at the number one position all season long for the Spartans. Overall this season Murrie finished with a record of 15-6 in singles and 12-9 in doubles (all being at No. 1).
Murrie is the first Spartan to be named all-conference since Bjarne Bachmann in 2023 (singles) and third honoree in the last five seasons.
This is Murrie's first career A-R-C Men's Tennis All-Conference honor.
