DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's lacrosse team's season came to end on Wednesday night at Oyen Field to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons 14-13 in the NACC semifinals.
The Spartans fell in a quick two goal deficit, but responded by finishing the opening quarter with two goals of their own to head to the second quarter tied at 2-all. The Spartans finished off five unanswered goals to go up 5-2 early into the second. There were a total of 14 goals scored in the second quarter alone and the Spartans had built a 8-5 lead before the Falcons scored four unanswered to retake the lead, but a Spartan's goal with six seconds left sent both teams to the half knotted at 9-all.
