DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team took two of the three doubles sets to claim the doubles point on Wednesday afternoon on Frank Farber Tennis Courts, but the Loras College Duhawks would win the match 5-2.

Gavin Murrie and Jake Wallrichs teamed up at #1 doubles to win in extras 7-5. The #2 doubles team of Ryan Kiddle/Andrew Bollis won 6-1 and Elia Desario/Tony Zuccaro lost 6-1 at #3 doubles. In singles play, Pedwar Castillo at #3 singles was the lone Spartan victory in a tie break 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (11-8 in tie break).

The Spartans stay at Frank Farber Tennis Courts for their final two A-R-C dual meets. The Spartans Simpson College and Central College on Friday, April 25 on graduation weekend to end the regular season. The A-R-C Team Tournament begins on Tuesday, April 29 at a site yet to be determined.
