CORALVILLE, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) was led by the University of Dubuque at the 2025 NCWWC Women's Wrestling Championship. UD's
Alex Hofrichter and
Shea Reisel grabbed All-American honors after battling through a tough field.
The A-R-C saw 19 wrestlers from three institutions represented at the championship this season. The Spartans finished the highest as a team with 25.5 points in 18th place followed by Wartburg College in 22nd place with 19.5 points and Simpson College in 24th place with 18.5 points.
Next season, the championship will be conducted as the 91st championship sport in the NCAA. The championship will be a National Collegiate Championship, including wrestlers from all three divisions. Hofrichter grabbed seventh place honors at the 160lb weight class while Reisel earned an eighth place podium finish in the 117lb weight class bracket.
