CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the postseason awards for men's wrestling on Wednesday afternoon. The University of Dubuque men's wrestling team featured three individuals earning A-R-C All-Conference as Brett Back (149lbs), Zane Pannell (174lbs), and Pilo Perez (197lbs) were awarded honors. 

To qualify for all-conference awards, a wrestler much finish among the top three A-R-C finishers in their respective weight classes at the NCAA Regional VI Championships. 

Back (Rudolph, Wis. / Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln) had an excellent first-year with the Spartans going 25-9 and finishing third at 149lbs at the regional championships. At 174lbs, Pannell (Fulton, Ill. / Fulton) finished 17-7 this season with a third place finish at the regional championships. Perez (Danville, Ill. / Danville) was able to secure a second place finish at 197lbs at the regional championships. Perez finished 9-4 this season.

All three all-conference wrestlers for the Spartans qualified for the NCAA Championships for the first time in their careers.
