DUBUQUE, Iowa - Both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com released their All-District / All-Region teams for men's basketball on Tuesday afternoon.
Jaylin McCants was named NABC District 9 First Team and D3hoops.com Region IX First Team.
McCants (Galesburg, Ill. / Galesburg) is now a two-time D3hoops.com All-Region IX with the first team honor (All-Region IX Third Team in 2023-2024). He is earning his first career NABC All-District First Team selection. In his final year with the Spartans, McCants averaged 19.8ppg, 7.7rpg, 70 assists, 46 steals, and 27 blocks.
McCants has now added more accolades this season to go along with A-R-C MVP, NABC College Division III All-Star Game participant, and conference athlete of the week on three different occasions.
*The NABC All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division III, while the D3hoops.com All-Region players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools.
