CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the winter all-academic list on Friday afternoon. The University of Dubuque had 35 student-athletes in total receive recognition, with women's basketball leading the way with 12 honors and the cheer team led the A-R-C with seven academic recognitions.

To be eligible for the Conference's All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must be on the eligibility list for the sport of nomination, at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year in residence and attain an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale). Individuals may be eligible for nomination in more than one sport. All nominees meeting the criteria will be designated as members of the All-Academic Team. Student-athletes on the Conference All-Academic Team will be selected during the season that their sports are played. The All-Academic Team will include any nominated student-athlete who meets the criteria.
