Women's Wrestling Lose at Home Against UW-Stevens Point

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's wrestling played host and lost a home dual meet in Stoltz Sports Center on Tuesday night against the UW-Stevens Point Pointers 38-10.

The Spartans #13 Shea Reisel (117 lbs.) dominated the match against #18 ranked Rose Ann Marshall and ended the match at 3:46 by a tech fall. Later in the dual, #18 Alex Hofrichter (160 lbs.) trailed in the match before a toss and a win by a fall in 2:15. Mattie Papenthien (138 lbs.) was awarded a technical point in her loss to give the Spartans 10 team points in the loss.

UD will travel to Rock Island, Ill. (Carver Wrestling Arena) on Feb. 8-9 to compete in the Quad Cities D3 Invite.
