"I'm really proud of our team this weekend," commented head coach
Chad Fenwick. "We came out and took care of business against Simpson on Friday. Today, we started slow against the Central Dutch, but fought our way in the heat through some tough singles matches. We managed to clinch at least a fourth place finish and an opportunity to host the first round of the A-R-C team tournament. So happy to see this team grow and improve throughout the fall."
The effort on the court and in the weight room is showing dividends for the Spartans. UD improved to 9-3 overall and 5-2 in American Rivers Conference play. The Spartans will host the Coe College Kohawks on Tuesday, Oct. 7 for their final league match-up.
