DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Frank Farber Tennis Courts have been kind to the Spartans this week after two consecutive American Rivers Conference victories this weekend. Friday the Spartans hit their way past the Central College Dutch in a nail biter 4-3 and on Saturday, they blanked visiting Simpson College Storm 7-0 to improve their season at 5-4 for head coach

Sarah Wilde won 7-6 after grabbing the tie-break 6-5. The #2 doubles of
Jayda Floyd/
Breann Kieliszewski won 6-2 and
Adriana Benavente/
Kadia Cole captured #3 doubles 6-0.
The Spartans finished unblemished in singles as well by claiming every single match.
Molly Jex claimed the win at #1 singles 6-3, 6-3.

Sarah Wilde won 6-2, 6-1, #4 singles
Jayda Floyd won 6-4, 6-3,
Breann Kieliszewski won 6-2, 6-2 at #5 singles, and
Amelia Court won #6 singles 6-2, 5-7, 10-8.
The Spartans continue their conference schedule on the road for three A-R-C matches. UD will face the Wartburg College Knights on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Waverly, Iowa. The Spartans will face their longest trip of the fall when they make their way to Lincoln, Neb. to play the Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairiewolves on Friday, Oct. 4 at 4:00 p.m. before ending homecoming week in Storm Lake, Iowa against the Buena Vista University Beavers on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10:00 a.m.
The A-R-C Individual Tournament hosted by Central College begins on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8:00 a.m. in Pella, Iowa.
