DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team lost to the Wartburg College Knights 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Frank Farber Tennis Courts.

The Spartans #1 doubles team of Pedwar Castillo/Ryan Kiddle lost 8-2, the #2 doubles duo of Dawson Freese/Ryan Linkie battled, but came up short in a 8-4 loss, and #3 doubles of Elia Desario/Alexander Hardin lost 8-2.

UD's Ryan Kiddle at #4 singles was the lone Spartan to grab a set in singles play after capturing the first set 6-4 before losing the second set 6-1 and the tie break 10-3.

Wednesday, April 24, UD will host the Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairiewolves at 4:00 p.m. The final regular season meet will be on Friday, April 26, when the Buena Vista University Beavers travel to Dubuque on Senior Day.

The American Rivers Conference Team Tournament begins on Tuesday, April 30.
