HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team lost 2-7 to Bridgewater College in the first match of their spring break trip out in South Carolina. 

In #1 doubles, Adriana Benavente and Breann Kieliszewski nearly won a close battle, but fell 7-8. The duo of Amelia Court and Hayden Warner won 8-3 in #2 doubles. Benavente dominated #2 singles with a 6-0, 6-3 victory. 

The Spartans will continue their spring break trip at Hilton Head when they face Mount Vernon Nazerene University (Ohio) on Thursday, February 29 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) / 12:00 p.m. (CT).
