HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team edged out a victory over Spring Break against Mount Vernon Nazarene by a 4-3 margin. The Spartans are spending spring break at the Professional Tennis Registry Spring Tennis Fest in sunny South Carolina.
The Professional Tennis Registry mission is to educate, certify, and serve coaches so the sport people love can continue to grow and evolve. They want to make being a great coach easier. Whether it's providing you the certifications that will get you taken seriously at clubs, schools, and academies, educating you on the latest coaching methods that will take your students' game to the next level, or connecting you with like-minded coaches around the world. Teams from across the Unites States in NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior Colleges will spend their spring breaks playing on some of the best hard courts in the country.
The Spartans won #2 doubles with

Amelia Court who grabbed the 6-3 victory. In singles play, #2 singles of
Adriana Benavente won 6-1, 7-5.
Breann Kieliszewski won #3 singles 6-4, 6-4.
Amelia Court won the first set at #4 singles, lost the second set and rallied to win the tie-break 10-3.
Qi Zhang dropped the first set 7-6, won the second set 6-1 and won the tie break 11-9.
