DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's basketball team finished up the inaugural Paxton's Pack Classic with a 61-51 loss to UW-River Falls on Monday afternoon at the Stoltz Sports Center.
Morgan Hawkins posted her second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Brynn Haas continued her great stretch with 16 points to lead the Spartans. The Spartans dominated the points in the paint battle 36-22, but UW-River Falls made 10 three-pointers in the game, whereas the Spartans were unable to connect from the perimeter going 0-9. The Spartans also managed 23 turnovers that resulted in 14 points for UW-River Falls. The Spartans drop to 3-8 this season.
