STORM LAKE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's volleyball team picked up their fourth straight sweep on Saturday as they took down the Buena Vista University Beavers 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-13) for their fifth straight win.
The Spartans finished three sets with a .227 attacking percentage with 41 kills on 128 attempts.
Emma Powell led the team with 12 kills while
Delainey Winkel (10) and
Caitlin Jensen (9) were all top leaders in kills for the Spartans. Powell and
Taylor Bechen both finished over 20 digs, with Powell finishing with a team-high 25 digs.
Alexis Kammerer had 23 assists on the afternoon.
The Spartans move to 21-8 overall and 6-1 in conference play. The Spartans have clinched a first round bye in the A-R-C Tournament and with a win in their final regular season game and a Coe loss, the Spartans can win the regular season conference title.
