Box Score INDIANOLA, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team capped off their weekend with a 3-6 loss at the Simpson College Storm. The Spartans jumped out to early leads in both #1 doubles and #2 doubles, but would collect just one win in doubles action. In singles play, UD would grab two wins.

Hayden Warner/Breann Kieliszewski jumped out to an early lead in #1 doubles only to have the host Storm rally back for the 8-6 win over UD. Adriana Benavente/Amelia court grabbed the #2 doubles victory in quick fashion 8-4. Abby Drost/Qi Zhang grabbed two sets in a 2-8 loss at #3 doubles.

In singles play, the top two would once again grab victories. Hayden Warner won 6-2, 6-4  in #1 singles and Adriana Benavente won #2 singles 6-1, 6-2. Breann Kieliszewski lost 3-6, 3-6 at #3 singles. Abby Drost dropped #4 singles 2-6, 1-6. Amelia Court lost at #5 singles 1-6, 1-6 and Qi Zhang lost #6 singles 0-6, 1-6.

UD will have a busy American Rivers Conference week when they play host to Wartburg College on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 4:00 p.m., Nebraska Wesleyan University on Friday, Oct. 6 at 4:00 p.m., and finishing up the week hosting the Buena Vista University Beavers on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 9:00 a.m.

The American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament begins on Friday, Oct. 13 at 8:00 a.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is being hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University.
