DUBUQUE, Iowa - With rain in the forescast on Saturday, the University of Dubuque men's tennis team hosted the Simpson College Storm inside the CRWC where they would win two of the three doubles matches as well as Bjarne Bachmann winning #1 singles. The Spartans would fall 3-6 in the match. 

Bachmann was able to control #1 singles 6-2, 6-3 and was a member of the #1 doubles with teammate Rashuan Duck as they took down Simpson's #1 doubles team 8-4. Josh Husemann and Brady McIntyre won #3 doubles 8-3 for the Spartans third win of the day. 

Pedwar would comeback in the set set of #2 singles, but fell in the third set. Duck had a first set lead in #3 singles, but would lose the final two sets. Husemann held a lead in #5 singles, but would fall in the second set and then to tiebreakers.

The Spartans will head west to take on Midland University and Nebraska Wesleyan University on Friday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. respectively. The Spartans will finish out the regular season on Saturday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. against Buena Vista University.
