DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque hosted the Central College Dutch on Friday afternoon on one of the warmest days of the season on Frank Farber Tennis Courts. UD lost the match 2-7 to the Dutch.

The Spartans grabbed the victory at #1 doubles when the team of Bachmann, Bjarne / Duck, Rashuan won 8-6. UD's #2 doubles team of Castillo, Pedwar / Kiddle, Ryan quickly started with a 3-0 lead before falling 4-8. McIntyre, Brady / Husemann, Josh lost #3 doubles 3-8. Bjarne Bachmann would be the lone singles victor after a long battle at #1 singles. He won the match 3-6, 7-5, 10-2.

UD will continue their season on Saturday versus the Simpson College Storm at Frank Farber Tennis Courts at 10:00 a.m. in Dubuque.
