DUBUQUE, Iowa - With the weather still in Winter form, the University of Dubuque men's tennis team hosted A-R-C competitor, the Luther College Norse inside the CRWC. The Spartans could not get anything going against the Norse, falling 9-0 to move to 2-9 overall and 0-2 in A-R-C conference play.
In #1 doubles the team of
Bjarne Bachmann and
Rashuan Duck fell in a tight match of 6-8. #2 doubles of
Pedwar Castillo and
Ryan Kiddle were ousted 1-8. In #3 doubles,
Alexander Hardin and
Josh Husemann had a close match 6-8 in the loss.
Bachmann would have a close first set in #1 singles 4-6, before falling in two sets. Castillo and Duck would each take a point in #2 and #3 singles in their losses. Kiddle fell in #4 singles 1-6, 1-6. Hardin in #5 singles lost 0-6 before takign a point and losing 1-6 in the second set.
Dawson Freese was the #6 singles player for the Spartans falling 1-6, 1-6 to finish the match.
