MOUNT VERNON/CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - It was a busy weekend for the University of Dubuque men's tennis team as they played two road matches on Saturday. UD lost 2-7 to the Cornell College Rams and lost the the Coe College Kohawks 0-9.

The Spartans grabbed a couple of wins against the Rams. UD won #3 doubles with Hardin, Alexander / Husemann, Josh won 8-3. Alexander Hardin won #5 singles 6-3, 7-5. Rashuan Duck lost a battle at #2 singles in a tie break. He dropped the first set 3-6, came back to capture set two by a 6-3 score, and lost the tie break set 6-10.

In the match against the Kohawks, UD's #1 doubles lost 4-8. Bachmann, Bjarne would lose #1 singles in a third set tie break. He won 6-3 in the opening set, lost set two 3-6 and dropped the tie break by a 8-10.

The Spartans host Luther College on Wednesday, March 29 at 4 p.m. and play at Wartburg on Sunday, April 2 at 4 p.m.
