DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team was pushed indoors after the Midwest weather failed to cooperate in mid-March. The temperature held steady in the low 20's and windy conditions forced the two teams indoors at the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center. UD held strong, but lost 0-9 to the visiting Augustana College Vikings.

UD's  Bachmann, Bjarne / Duck, Rashuan lost at #1 doubles 4-8. Husemann, Josh / Hardin, Alexander lost at #2 doubles by a 2-8 margin.  Kiddle, Ryan / Freese, Dawson lost #3 doubles by a 2-8 score. Augustana swept all six singles to sweep the match. Dawson Freese fought off an ankle injury to finish the #6 singles 3-6, 2-6.

The Spartans travel to play the Cornell College Rams at 9:30 a.m. in Mount Vernon, Iowa and the Coe College Kohawks at 2:30 p.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on March 25.
