ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The University of Dubuque women's hockey began a weekend road series at the College of St. Benedict on Friday night and opened with an 0-8 loss. UD finished with 12 shots in the loss.

Cassidy Becia had three. Defensively UD compiled 30 blocks with
Madilynn Schiile leading all skaters with seven blocks. Goalie
Savannah Wuitschick played all 60:00 minutes and ended the night with 57 saves.
Olivia Hodges won eight faceoffs and lost 20,
Gracie Hall won five and lost 14, and
Chloe Byma won three and lost nine.
UD was called for five penalties for 10:00 minutes. The two squads return to ice on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. for the final match of the weekend.
