CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dubuque's
Adriana Benavente scored a runner-up finish in the American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament "B" singles on Saturday. She lost in a tie break for the championship. She lost the first set 2-4, rallied to win the second set 5-3, but lost the tie break 7-10.
It was a long drawn out tournament after weather complicated play on Friday which moved play indoors. A-Doubles and the top half of B-Doubles were held at Coe College while the bottom half of B-Doubles and C-Doubles will be at Smithfield. A-Singles and B-Singles will be contested at Coe while C-Singles and D-Singles will be on the courts at Smithfield. Follow along on X (Twitter)

Format of Matches:
- A-, B- Singles -> First round matches shall be 8-game pro sets. Beginning with the round of 16, all matches shall be best two-of-three sets with a 10-point match tiebreaker in lieu of a third set, with tiebreakers played at 6-6 in the first two sets.
- C-, D-Singles -> All matches leading up to the semifinals shall be 8-game pro sets with a tiebreaker played at 7-7. The semifinals and championship match shall be best two-of-three sets with a 10-point match tiebreaker in lieu of a third set, with tiebreakers played at 6-6 in the first two sets. The third-place match shall be adjusted to 8-game pro set.
- All Doubles -> 8-game pro sets on both sides of the bracket with tiebreakers played at 7-7.
- All consolation draws shall be 8-game pro sets with tiebreakers played at 7-7.
