GALESBURG, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's soccer team hit the road for the first time this season as they took on the Knox College Prairie Fire from the Midwest Conference. Coming off their home opener victory last night defeating Monmouth College, the Spartan defense yet again forced a shutout tonight defeating the Prairie Fire 2-0.

Liam Persson pass to make the score 2-0 and cruise to victory.
Matt Marchiori got the start tonight in goal for the Spartans as he played the full 90 minutes collecting three saves. Emil Joseffson was accurate with his shots tonight as all three were on goal. The Spartans played a deep lineup tonight as they played 23 with many playing double digit minutes.
