PELLA/INDIANOLA, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team is still seeking it's first win of the season after dropping a pair of American Rivers Conference matches on Saturday. The Spartans lost to Central College Dutch 1-8 and lost to Simpson College Storm 3-6.

The Spartans lone win against Central was #1 singles match  with Hayden Warner who won in tie-break 6-1, 5-7, 1-0. The dual meet against Simpson, Warner would win her second #1 singles match of the afternoon with a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Alyssa Stevenson won #2 singles 7-5 and won second set by a forfeit. Warner and Stevenson would combine at #1 doubles and won easily 8-1.

The Spartans (0-10 overall and 0-5 in A-R-C) will travel west this next week and face Buena Vista University on Oct. 7 at 4:00 p.m. before travelling to Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 11:00 a.m.

The American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament begins on Friday, Oct. 14 in Decorah, Iowa.
