DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis moved indoors on Tuesday afternoon after midday showers moved through the tri-states. The Spartans would lose the match-up to the Loras College Duhawks 0-9.

It was a busy last week with the Spartans traveling across the state over the weekend and narrowly lost to Buena Vista University 4-5 in a match which was settled in a tie break and a match lost to Nebraska Wesleyan University 0-9. The Spartans (0-13 overall, 0-8 in A-R-C) wrapped up the team fall schedule Tuesday at home on the Frank Farber Tennis Courts.

The Spartans will begin the A-R-C Women's Individual Tournament on Friday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. in Decorah, Iowa.The tournament hosted by Luther College will finish on Saturday, October 15. Draws and other logistics information for the women's tournament will be released Thursday, October 13. The 2022 American Rivers Conference Women's Tennis Individual Flighted Singles (A, B, C) and Doubles (A, B) Tournament will will begin at 10:00 a.m. both days. Players will take the courts at Luther College and Decorah City Courts.
 
This year's tournament will feature 31 players in the A-flight singles, 27 B-flight singles players, and 27 entries in the C-flight. Doubles action will see 18 teams take the court in the A-flight and 25 teams in the B-flight.
